Pitchfork Festival

PARIS.

This halloween, I got the train to Paris with a few of my new french friends and we spent the night of the 31st at Pitchfork Festival (sounds scary but it really isn't! Promise!)

We went up the night before and spent the evening having far too many cocktails in Pigalle, before ending up in front of the sparkling Eiffel Tower and blagging handfuls of free key rings.

The next day was spent how every day in Paris should be spent: sampling patisseries and macarons at Laduree, trying on everything in french Zara, eating sushi in front of Notre Dame and then of course a hefty make up session at our hotel.

A little tip for you...if you spend halloween in Paris, don't dress up. I went as a cat...no one else dressed up...in the entire festival...

Gutted.

Feeling feline...

Pretty much every girl has donned a pair of cat ears, a black dress and some eyeliner whiskers and gone as a cat one halloween, it's an easy costume, you're guaranteed to look good and you know you won't stand out from the other twenty sexy cats there, but this year I thought I'd go for...the Puma.

Halloween make up

I was going out clubbing near Paris last night and I accidentally slept in my make up and I got black smudges from my eye make up on my cheeks. Instead of panicking that I didn't have enough time to doll myself up, I decided to add to it and wear halloween make up as it was an early halloween club night after all. I added my dark eye shadow powders to it to make my cheeks darker, then put on my dark purple lipstick and finally drew a line of Benefit's benetint under each eye and let it dribble down to give the effect of blood tears.

When I turned up at the club, everyone was so jealous that they all did themselves make shift halloween  make up/ face painting with what they had in their make up bags.
