Santa Baby
#leave a lip scrub under the tree for me...

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas...

It's important to start taking care of those lips with a little help from LUSH

The cold, winter season full of freezing weather and biting winds means one thing in particular -Absolute Nightmare for those lips of yours.

I have searched high and low for a solution to my winter cracked lips and finally found success in the obvious place - LUSH.
Here are my two top festive products for utterly kissable lips this Christmas.

Santa's Lip Scrub £5.50/ 25g

Lush says 'We think this is exactly the kind of product Mrs. Claus would like to use to get her lips soft and healthy for the festive season.'

say: this Cola flavoured scrub is the perfect solution to cracked lips. The caster sugar in the scrub works wonders smoothing away the dry skin on your lips leaving them conditioned and incredibly soft and preparing them for your lip tint/ balm/ gloss etc.

Another thing to note is that the red colour in the scrub does not stain your lips in the slightest, so if you're not a red lips lover you can still use it!!

Santa Baby Lip Tint £5.50/ 9g

Lush says 'The colour red is about as Christmassy as it gets. We've made this lip tint just the shade that Mrs Claus might use to woo her husband.'

say: this lip tint is my new FAVOURITE lip tint. Not only does it taste like cola, the colour stays on for hours and hours and needs very little touch ups throughout the day!

Although the lip tint comes out of the tin soft, the tint dries matte and does not smudge which is especially handy at Christmas when there are lots of festive parties - no one wants to be the girl that people avoid at a Christmas party with red stains on their champagne flute and red tinted teeth! We've all been there but this is the solution!

* It is important to note that typical to LUSH products, both of these Santa Baby lip treatments contain completely natural ingredients and safe synthetics. *

So head on down to LUSH girlies, then scrub up those lips, tint them red then go stand under some mistletoe and wait for Zac Efron to arrive!

Rudolph the red nosed face mask
#what a shiny nose!

On the Sixth Day of Christmas...

In shear desperation to get rid of my red shiny nose and dry skin from my cold, I stopped into LUSH and purchased the...

RUDOLPH
LUSH Fresh Face Mask
60g/ £5.50

I am THRILLED with my new purchase, its fresh and natural ingredients work absolute wonders on the skin and have transformed my red, shiny, Rudolph nose into what it was before! Pheew, no one wants that especially around the most photographed season of the year!

The secret ingredient of this bad boy is fine oatmeal which originally scared me, the thought of spreading oatmeal on my face...yuck. But actually I couldn't recommend it more!

The only fault I have with this LUSH product is that lots of my friends who have bought this face mask online received it only to find that there wasn't a red jelly nose inside which to me is half the fun of the face mask so I would buy it from the shop so you can check there and then that your Rudolph jelly nose is in the tin!

All in all, a great stocking filler/ Christmas present AND an essential face mask for getting through the months of harsh winter weather to come with a beautiful complexion.

Christmas lip balm
#Eggsnogg.....

On the second day of christmas...
My true love should have bought for me:
EGGSNOGG lip balm by LUSH
(How festive!!!)

Creamy Christmas Cocktail Kisses
£5.95

This REALLY excited me when I was strolling around LUSH because it is SO festive and I absolutely love the name...Eggsnogg - hilarious.

This would make a FANTASTIC stocking filler or gift for your mates, a girlfriend, a sister or just yourself!
LUSH says: 'Eggsnogg contains a luxurious mixture of butters and nut oils to make a lip balm that's soft, yet protective for winter lips. Vanilla, cinnamon, and a hint of lemon oil all go together to make a flavour that's truly scrumptious, and sure to make you the most popular person under the mistletoe.'

I say: 'I'm not crazy about the smell but I'm not a huge fan of the smell of eggnog in general so I should have seen that coming. I do however love how this balm makes my lips feel, it's like a kind of lip scrub/ balm with sugary crystals and it leaves my lips looking beautiful and very snog-able.

Like I said I'm not the biggest fan of Eggnog. The other day I had an awful moment regarding this. I was in Starbucks and the man behind the till suggested an eggnog latte (he was clearly told he needed to shift them) so he massively hard sold me an eggnog latte and being the weak person that I am, I cracked and bought it. He told me if I didn't like it, I could return it and he'd give me any other drink in return but of course I felt so bad that I couldn't bare to! It was honestly the most disgusting drink I've ever had!! - The closest I can come to describe it is the flavour of the butterbeer remake they make at Warner Bros Studios for the Harry Potter Tour...
You make like it but it is not for me!

It literally ruined my day haha. I was SO sad. One of the biggest mistakes I've ever made haha. Next time I'll opt for tea - safe bet.
I have heard the gingerbread latte is good though...
I've never had it, let me know if you like eggnog, it's not a big thing over here in England so let me know if it's good...
