Olsen Obsession

Like pretty much every girl that grew up in the nineties/ noughties, amongst my guilty pleasures of S Club 7 and alien babies, I STILL have a minor (incredibly major) obsession with the Olsen twins. I not only love their fantastically awful films (I still have every single video) but I adore their style and admire the impressive fashion empire that they have created at such a young age.

Every Olsen fan has a twin in particular that they look up to and aspire to be.

Mine?

The Unbelievably gorgeous Ashley Olsen

I have LOVED the Olsen duo ever since I bought Passport to Paris, my first ever Mary-Kate and Ashley video and I have worshipped their style from a young age. As they grew up, their style evolved and their fashion preferences divided their followers into team Mary-Kate and team Ashley. Despite a lot of the crowd following Mary Kate and her loud and bold fashion sense, I have always been a loyal worshipper of Ashley and her classic and conservative style.

My dream day would be to just sit in the Olsen twins' walk in wardrobe and try on everything.

Mary-Kate and Ashley are hugely influential on fashion trends and know exactly what they're talking about, however when they were younger even they could have a few fashion misfires...

CASE AND POINT.
(Although obviously at the time I wanted some tartan/tie dye bootlegs SO BADLY)

Now, as one of the most influential duos in fashion, the Olsen twins have created their own style bible: Influence, a fantastic buy but not what I was expecting at all. Rather than focusing on the talented twins, this eccentric and eclectic book is a compilation of interviews that the gorgeous girls conducted with some of the most influential people in art and fashion, their very own style icons.
It is the PERFECT 'coffee table book' to read or flick through casually with a cup of tea and admire the gorgeous photos.

Bliss.
