Festival flower power

You know those babies you see at festivals on their parents' shoulders wearing tie dye, fairy wings and ginormous ear protective headphones in a huge crowd of dancing hippies?...Yep that was me.                                                             Festivals have been a huge part of my life from a VERY young age and I have been to a huge selection of festivals all over the world over the past 22 years. There is one festival in particular however that I have been to every summer since I could walk and that takes priority in my summer calendar over all the other festivals in the world...
Larmer Tree Festival.
'The happiest, friendliest, quirkiest festival in the land.'

Of all the festivals that I have been to, this is by far the friendliest; full of wonderful and relaxed people listening to great live bands, sitting around eating fantastic food (blackcurrant and goats cheese crumpets mmm) and making gorgeous crafts.
It is a relatively unknown folk festival but my god if you go there once, you will go every year.

Whether you're a real festival bunny or you've never been to one, I can't recommend this wonderful folk festival enough, a perfect introduction to the festival life and a great excuse to break out your inner hippy and don the tassels and tie dye.
